As a Denver family photographer, I work with families throughout the Denver area to create beautiful, natural images in some of Colorado's most stunning locations. I'll help you plan every detail, from choosing the perfect setting to helping you prepare for your session, so when the day arrives, all you have to do is show up and enjoy your family.
The Family Experience
The best family photos aren't always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera. They're the belly laughs, the way your little one reaches for your hand, the snuggles, the movement and all those little interactions that feel like your family.
My family sessions are intentionally relaxed and unhurried. I'll give you plenty of direction so you never have to wonder what to do, but I also leave room for the moments that happen naturally along the way.
With more time together, we can let kids warm up, explore, play and just be themselves. The result is a gallery filled with a mix of beautiful portraits and candid moments that tell a fuller story of your family right now.
One of my favorite parts of being a family photographer is getting to watch families grow. I have photographed some of my clients from before babies to pregnancy, the sleepy newborn days through first birthdays, new siblings and all the seasons that follow.
Over time, sessions start to feel less like a photo shoot and more like catching up with an old friend. Your kids know me, I know your family and everyone can settle in a little more easily.
These photos become even more meaningful as the years go by. Being able to see your kids grow and change through photos tells the story of your family.

Once you're ready to book, we'll choose a time and date that works best. I usually schedule sessions around the golden hour for the most dreamy light, but we can chat about all the options that work best for your family's schedule. After that, I'll send over a contract and invoice to officially reserve your spot on my calendar.

There really isn't a bad time! Summer and fall are especially beautiful for outdoor family photos in Colorado.I'll help you choose a season, location and time of day that fits your vision.
Once your session is booked, I will send my family session guide that has inspiration and tips to help you choose outfits that feel true to your family.
For the most flexibility, I recommend reaching out at least 4-8 weeks in advance. Fall is my busiest season and tends to book out earlier. It's always better to reach out sooner than later.

I photograph families throughout Denver and the surrounding areas. Depending on the look you love, we can choose anything from mountain views, open fields, golden trees in the fall or a studio. After booking, we will chat in depth about the options and what works best for you.
Absolutely! Full family sessions are a great option when you want to include grandparents or document multiple generations.Let me know when you inquire so we can make sure to plan enough time and the right location.
Yes! If you're looking for a quick annual update, rather than a fully customized family session, I offer seasonal mini sessions on select dates throughout the year. You can find that info here.
I don't believe in making you choose just a handful of favorites. Your session includes all the best edited, high-resolution images in a private online gallery that you can download, print and share. The exact number of images will vary for each session.
In most cases, yes! I love including pets when they're an important part of your family. Some locations have restrictions, so let me know ahead of time and we can choose a pet-friendly location.
