It would be nearly impossible to choose a favorite from all the inspiration shoots I’ve done over the years, but this Desert Magnolia Editorial is definitely up there. The inspiration for this shoot came from the idea of lush magnolia leaves and flowers set against the backdrop of the desert in Joshua Tree. The contrast between these two seemingly opposite elements, created the perfect juxtaposition for a stunning and unique shoot. Heather and Laura, our gorgeous brides, were each styled in a way to reflect their personalities. Laura wore an incredible Amanda James jumpsuit complimented by her Nina Berenato ear cuff and fish tail braid for an edgier look; while Heather was stunning in an ethereal, sparkly gown by Chosen By One Day and soft waves perfectly styled by Veronica Lara.
Sheena from P.S. & Associates Planning took the reins on styling the shoot and did an incredible job. Everything from the beautiful tablescape to the bar trailer, the ceremony elements to the stationery.
