Rebecca and Arno | Intimate Backyard Wedding

Rebecca and Arno hosted a backyard wedding on May 15, 2021 in Pasadena, CA. Like many couples they were forced to change their wedding plans due to Covid and downsize to a smaller wedding. Although they were disappointed to cancel their original plans, their wedding day turned out absolutely beautiful! Rebecca’s aunt hosted their wedding at her home with their most special 15 guests. Rebecca says, “with such few people, and all of them being so important to us, the atmosphere felt personal and private.”

The Couple’s Love Story

Rebecca and Arno met through Arno’s brother Ari and sister-in-law, Jenny. Rebecca grew up with Jenny. When Jenny married Ari, Arno would come up to Northern California to visit. Rebecca would see Arno at church from time to time but it wasn’t until a Christmas party that they really hit it off! They went on their first date the next month and have been together ever since!

Getting Ready for the Backyard Wedding

Wedding details are always my favorite! Rebecca chose blush, gold, and baby blue for their colors. It all ties together perfectly.

A Personal First Look

Rebecca and Arno met outside for their first look before their wedding. You can see they are a playful and loving couple!

Ceremony

Rebecca and Arno were married under a gorgeous floral arch outside of her aunt’s home.

Beautiful Backyard Wedding Atmosphere

Their families enjoyed a private dinner party after their ceremony. They hired a private chef to cook them a four course meal enjoyed outside under the twinkling lights. Rebecca and Arno were the sweetest couple to shoot! It was very special day!
