Jennifer and Anuar planned a romantic wedding in their very own backyard! While the couple wanted it to feel simple, it was very relaxed and welcoming for their closest family and friends.
Jennifer and Anuar first met while they were both working at Target. Anuar was asked to “train” Jennifer and he made her pull a really heavy flat for the toy department. He joked around and called her “muscles” and made her do it! They never actually worked together much after that and lost contact with each other. That was until they say each other again at a mutual friend’s birthday party. After that, Jennifer invited Anuar to go to Vegas for her birthday and the rest was history!
The Proposal
Anuar proposed to Jennifer while on a trip in Cancun. TSA almost blew the surprise! Jennifer of course had no idea he hired a photographer to take photos of them. The photographer took photos as they walked around the resort posing. However, it was so hot, and bright Anuar was sweating a lot! He even had to borrow the photographer’s sunglasses at one point! Before I knew it he was down on one knee proposing to me on the beach in Cancun. I was so surprised!
Romantic Backyard Wedding
Jennifer and Anuar had the most perfect wedding day! They chose a theme of blush toned flowers, with groomsmen in navy suits and the bridesmaids in silver grey. They chose to have the ceremony at a nearby church. Then hosted their guests in their backyard. When the sun set it was so romantic with the string lights illuminating the backyard. Jennifer and Anuar had a taco truck come – which was a huge hit with their guests!
