Megan and JD’s wedding at the Hotel Teatro in downtown Denver was beyond beautiful and romantic. They live in Dallas but wanted to plan a fun destination wedding somewhere that has special meaning to them, so they chose Denver. Megan fell in love with the event space at Hotel Teatro, including the gorgeous navy bookshelf that turned into the inspiration for their wedding design. Megan wanted the vibe to be romantic, intimate and light. They incorporated beautiful blues to blend seamlessly with the venue as well as natural green and white florals.
With only 32 of their closest friends and family in attendance (plus their two adorable pups), Megan and JD’s wedding definitely felt intimate and romantic. I absolutely loved capturing their day. These two are so kind and fun, I loved every minute of their day.
From the bride: The proposal
After the first date, we both knew this was *it* and we deleted the app the next day! We were spending the weekend in Austin, TX (where we met/lived for the first 2 years of our relationship). When we finished dinner and walked over to a wine bar where we sat on a swing under a tree with twinkle lights and were listening to live music when he asked. He said he was going to wait until the next day, but the moment just felt right!
