Brittany and Craig’s wedding at Donovan Pavilion was beyond gorgeous. Truly, I’m obsessed. First of all, Brittany and Craig are one of the most fun couples ever. There was so much laughter between the two of them. Secondly, Donovan Pavilion is one of my favorite venues in Vail. The high ceilings, huge windows and tons of natural light make this an amazing venue to shoot at. It’s also tucked in among the aspen trees and a short walk to the river, which makes for so many beautiful photo opportunities.
From the couple, How did you meet?
Our first date was at the Englewood Grande. He wore a white collared tiki shirt and had the best laugh. He says he can’t remember what I was wearing, but my red hair & sweet smile stood out right away. We were there for 4 hours…
The Proposal
Craig proposed at Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs three weeks before Christmas. The hotel was decorated spectacularly for Christmas! Brittany had no idea!
The Inspiration
We’re planning a romantic and relaxed but classy vibe with our most favorite family and friends! We’ll have a string quartet playing music for the ceremony & cocktail hour. It’s an indoor/outdoor adults-only affair. We are taking our guests with us to Italy and Greece – our honeymoon destinations – with a Mediterranean meal and little hints of of the Amalfi Coast with Limoncello sippers for the end of the night!
