As a Denver family photographer, I get to witness so many beautiful family moments – but this session at Mount Falcon Park was something truly special.
Tucked just about 30 minutes from Denver, Mount Falcon is one of my favorite spots for family photos. Thanks to its wide open views, soft golden light, and those classic Colorado vibes, it’s the perfect spot for any type of session. With a mix of trails, wild grasses, and mountain backdrops, it’s a dream location, especially at sunset.
This sweet family showed up ready for fun. The girls were full of giggles and energy from the very beginning. We let them play, explore the trails, and practice twirls while I captured those candid, joyful in-between moments that make a session feel genuine and fun.
Mom and dad were so relaxed and loving with each other. It’s always a joy to photograph couples who clearly enjoy being parents and still take time to connect.

It’s perfect in spring, summer, and especially fall when the grasses turn golden and the light is soft and dreamy.
