If you ask me, fall is one of the best times of year to have little kids.

The weather finally cools off and you can go outside again, the leaves start changing, and weekends fill up with pumpkin patches, hayrides, hot cider, and picking out “the biggest pumpkin ever.”

As a Denver family photographer and a mom, I spend a lot of time talking with families about their favorite fall traditions. Visiting a pumpkin patch is almost always at the top of the list.

During the annual Pumpkin Festival you’ll find:

2. Gilly’s Pumpkin Patch

Castle Rock
